Here you have the option of calculating the active power, voltage, current and cos φ
of three-phase motors, for example.

P = U x I x cos φ x √3
Power: P
Voltage: V
Current: I
cos φ
cos φ has to be between -1 and 1 sein!
Please fill all mandatory inputs.

Here is an example:

A 400 V three-phase standard motor has a rated current of 25.18 amps and a cos φ of 0.86.
What electrical power results from these specifications?

P=U x I x cos φ x √3
P=400 V x 25.18 A x 0.86 x √3
P=15.003 kW or 15 kW

Units of measurement:

Active power P=Kilowatt [kW]
Voltage u=Volt [V]
Current i=Ampere [A]
cos φ without
√3 or 1.73 without
