An electric motor with a synchronous speed of 1500 rpm has a
speed specification of 1450 rpm on the rating plate.

What slip results from these specifications?

S=(Ns - N) / Ns * 100%
S=(1500 rpm - 1450 rpm) : 1500 rpm x 100%
S=3.33%
