Size and performance of worm geared motors

In our online shop, you will find a selection of worm geared motors with various revolutions per minute (rpm, rpm, rpm or 1/min). The worm geared motors are made from an aluminium or grey cast iron housing and are available in sizes NMRV, 30, 40, 50, 63, 75, 80, 90, 100, 110, 125, 130 and 150. Shaft diameters and torques

The aluminium worm gearboxes are available with the following hollow shafts: 14 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 28 mm, 30 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm and 50 mm. The torque output depends on the motor power, the efficiency and the output speed. Taking these points into account, we supply worm gearboxes in a range of 10 - 2000 Nm.

Angular gearbox function

Worm gearboxes, also known as angular gearboxes, consist of a shaft with one or more helical gears, the worm and a meshing helical gear, the worm wheel. The axes of the two are offset by 90°. Special areas of application for such a gearbox are where high reduction ratios are required in one step. There are left-hand and right-hand worm geared motors. Both directions of rotation are equally possible. The complete flexibility of the mounting options includes foot, flange and centring solutions with a torque arm. Self-locking is available from an efficiency of less than 50 %.
